Production of the last few days

There have been a few days since my last post on this blog over the last few days; although I have tried to make up for it with comments on other blogs. Just thought I’d show what I have been up to (which isn’t that much, seeing as it has been a busy week). Behold: three more blocks for my SBS!

In the picture I have also added the scissors holder I have made for my grandfather’s lady friend tonight - I'll have to find a button tomorrow. We are celebrating her birthday this Saturday, and this will make a nice addition to the orchid we are giving her. I hope she’ll be pleased.

I’m still trimming my hour glass blocks in between grading papers, trying to write my thesis, working on my SBS and everything else life brings. I promise I’ll post something soon…

Life, what life!? I had planned to do a lot more sewing this week as well but then my son got ill, then I got too tired and now we are having a busy week-end. Your SBS blocks are so pretty as usual. I especially like the one with the very narrow spikes. Enjoy the birthday party! Take care.

Those blocks look great, but it's the list of activities keeping you from much sewing that scares me!!

Your work is so fine -- and doesn't that put you over the halfway mark? Congrats!!

Hello.
Just wanted you to know that I stopped by and took another peek around your blog. I'm glad that you are working on the SBS. Your hourglass blocks are beautiful! I liked the one on the right, because it was more bright/light in color. The fabrics are nice. Best wishes on the day.
