Borders are on

I promised an update on the Bear's Paw once the borders were on, and this is what it looks like:

A little different, but quite fun ;o) I still have to figure out how I'm going to quilt it, think I might have some stencils that will fit...

Another update is that last night I did a new layout on my leaders and enders blocks, and I think I have enough of these patches for a lap size quilt:

Now I "just" have to do all the setting squares, and I still have lots of these 1.5" squares, so I'm thinking perhaps doing something along the line of a scrappy border... we'll see ;o)

Hugs and stitches from
Anne Ida

I love the bear paw quilt. I don't think I would have realized they were bear paws, they look so different on point. Very pretty. And I love how you brought the background into the border. Very cool.

Bearpaw-quilten ble kjempeflott, likte godt borden rundt med trekanter i to av hjørnene som en forlengelse av blokkene. Spennende å se hvordan lap-quilten blir. Lykke til!

Oh, your Bear's Paw borders turned to be fabulous. I wonder what is the size of your blocks? Because the background fabric with the roses looks very interesting!!!
