I have been drooling over all the cute little Schnibble quilts all over blogland for months now, and have reading Carrie Nelson's Schnibbles Times Two with great eagerness since it popped into my mailbox last week, along with some other quilty goodness.
I have plans... I bought two Decadent Victorian charm packs for a Buckeye Beauty quilt when I visited Rose a couple of years ago. Was I to change my mind and use them for a Schnibble instead?
Last week was very busy as I was helping a friend clear out a house for sale - lots of sorting and heavy carrying. So coming home I felt like a little treat. I know I should work on my WISPs (the list is loooooong!), but a treat should be something new, right? So I cut into my two charm packs and have been happily sewing and trimming - and this is what I can show:
Even if it is a bit busy, I think it turned out pretty cute! I wasn't able to abandon the thought of a Buckeye Beauty, though ;o) I'll do some very simple quilting on it so I can get it finished and onto a table or a wall. Rose sent me some gorgeous pink quilting thread for Christmas I'm planning on using.
Happy quilting!
Hugs and stitches from Anne Ida
