FNwF Filler Blocks and More Stars

It's the first Friday of a new month, and that means Friday Night With Friends bloggie quilting bee hosted by Cheryll over at Gone Stitchin'.

After a quick and simple supper I got cozy on the couch with a glass of red, an Agatha Christie mystery playing (The Secret Adversary from 2015), and got started on the first filler blocks for my Stargazer.

Thinking I might have to conduct a bit of discipline with these, since they are all the same, I fear I might get bored after a while. I have posted a cross-off list in the sidebar of the blog, but I'm not sure if I'll wing it, make a weekly goal, or perhaps a daily goal...

Of course I just had to make another couple of stars as well :-) I'm particularly fond of this fox head star - love the effect of those red fox ears in the center, from a distance it kind of looks like a peppermint candy

Another "tortoise" star - I'm loving this one as well

Pop on over to the list of participants in October Friday Night With Friends and see what everyone got up to tonight

Hugs and stitches from Anne Ida

Those fabrics make fantastic fussy cut hexagon / stars.

Hand sewing is so addictive, just one more before I do the ironing/ washing etc.
