I promised a pic...

...of my Dear Jane blocks, so here it is:

C9 – Jane’s Tears, B13 – Four Corner Press; I2 – Kaye’s Courtyard;
A1 – Pinwheel Gone Awry; M10 – Simple Simon; A6 – Uncle Homer;
F4 – Old Windmill; D13 – Field of Dreams; B9 – Tinker Toy

I included the ones I showed previously too, so as to make a complete square :o) Like I said, mostly rather simple blocks to get into the feel and rhythm of hand piecing these tiny pieces. These blocks are far from perfect, but this quit will be an exercise in hand piecing and appliqué, and hopefully making these tiny blocks will improve my skills. I already has attempted something for the first time ever – reverse appliqué; and I’m rather pleased with the result :o)

Hope you have a great Friday evening!
Sincerely, Anne Ida

Very nice and they show that you must have a lot of patience:O) I love handwork, it takes a long time, but just doing it is very relaxing.

These are great, I got comment on my blog that said "perfect is in the eye of the beholder" I think that is so true.

Ahh! Look what I miss when I neglect my blogs! Lol* Congrat's on finishing your SBS 140! You will be proud to know that I have now completed 5 SBS blocks! Lol* At this rate I'll have my 140 done sometime around 2010.

The blue and cream swap SBS blocks look AWESOME too! :) I can't believe you've started a Dear Jane quilt too! Lol* You are one busy gal. Wheew! :) Everything is looking fabulous and you are inspiring me to start more projects - as usual! :)

They are a good start, I like the blue, it's funny it isn't a colour that I use much, I should make a sampler! Tracey

Beautiful blocks and I love your color choices. You are truly my inspiration, even if I am only on Row B of the SBS.

Your DJ blocks look wonderful! I need to get back working on mine :)) I find that the best way to stitch these tiny blocks together is by hand, and it doesn't take long to get into a rhythm - looks like you are doing pretty great already!!

Your Dear Jane blocks look very nice grouped together. In fact, you'll find the more you make, the better they keep looking. VBG
