Round Robin

I have participated in a Round Robin on the "Stoffbytteklubben" (fabric swap club), and today I finally found mine in the mail box!!! This is how it turned out:

I made the Castle Wall block in the centre, Gudveig did the seminole border, Kari did the purple with the appliqué flowers, and then Lena did the square in a square border. I'm thinking of quilting it quite simply (some meandring, perhaps) and bind it in some dark blue. It will be a good summer table topper :o)

This is how Lena's RR looked when I sent it to Kari:

This is Kari's with Lena's and my rounds:

And this is Gudveig's once all of us had stitched on it:

They all look very different! This was a fun experience, but I don't think I'll join in something like this again any time soon - too much stress and uncertainties...

Happy Quilting!
Sincerely, Anne Ida

They all look great! But I think it give you a kind of scary feeling; "Will I like what my partners have done on my quilt?!?"

I believe that it is a little bit of stress to participate in a project like RR. They all turned out beautiful.

What a great RR. All the quilts look really wonderful. But I know what you mean about stress because you want to do a good job on everyone's.

Thanks for sharing the different results.
I must admit I am Round Robin challenged, but I enjoy seeing what other are doing :-)

I do understand the stress...for me it is more than enough to swap some fabrics....

The blocks all look great. It almost makes me want to be in a round robin. Almost.

They turned out really pretty! I would be so afraid they'd not like what I'd done...though you are a very talented person who needn't have those fears. I'm sure everyone is more than pleased with your work! :)

Those RR turned out just lovely! I've signed up for my first RR, so we will see how much I enjoy the whole process.
