Autumn Fields finished

Ok, so hand quilting is a bit addictive *lol* Just one more thread and then take a break.... doesn't really work that way ;o) And the "fun" thing is this that over all my years of quilting this is only the second quilt I have hand quilted (and actually finished). Anyway, this is how it turned out:

It's not very heavily quilted, just some straight lines. I had planned to bind it in the same fabric as the border, but once I got around to it, I found it better to pick up the setting fabric instead. And I'm very happy with how it turned out! A picture of the back shows the quilting a bit better:

And it has found a place on the wall already:

I can enjoy looking at it while playing with Bernie ;o)

Yippie, Skippie! I love love love it! Gosh it feels good to get this quilted and done, ha?

By the way, I'm still plowing through my Cheddar quilt. Yes, you're still in my head. Decided it needed another row of blocks. Got those on this morning, with additional sashing. I wanted to quit but since you are INDEED in my head... we're plowing thru. At some point I'll be clearing off the table and doing the borders. Gotta do that just to get you out of my head. Hee heeh. silly, *karendianne.

What a great job you did. I like the colors in the quilt and the secondary design, as well. And you're right about hand quilting being addictive. When I do get around to quilting something, I don't want to stop.
Take care.
