Anyone think I had forgotten this is a quilting blog? I wouldn't blame you, seeing what I have been posting about over the last days. So I thought I'd let you know I'm still working on my SBS; yes, some might be tired of hearing about this, but the blocks are so much fun to do, and I love to see the pile of blocks grow in the basket. Anyway, a quick picture of the latest blocks:
A big thank you to Rose for letting me in on her calculations on a couple of blocks (Cross and Crown in the picture and Crow's Foot, which I have cut but not pieced yet), sparing me the struggle of foundation paper piecing (I only do that when I absolutely have to). I have also cut the pieces for 10 more, laying next to Bernie awaiting me having a few minutes or a couple of hours to be pieced.
Now I'm going to go to bed. Have a good night (if you are in my part of the world) or a good day (if you are somewhere on the other side).
Sincerely, Anne

Wonderful new blocks! This time of year is a busy one, and sometimes quilting gets pushed aside some. At least at my house...
Wow, you are doing great on your SBS blocks! Will you share a photo of all the finished blocks anytime soon??

Very nice. I love seeing them! :) I need to set out on a block adventure. I've been doing the same old stuff, I need new stuff. You've inspired me. Hope you got lots of sleep! :)
What a beautiful collection of blocks.
Your blocks are really coming along. Mine are still sitting in a box taunting me................
Oooooh all this talk of SBS blocks, I really want to try some of those blocks now! I'm really starting to get into the books, and I love the quilts that go along with them. I'm only 2/3's through the second book Round Robin however, and this evening it dawned on me - SBS - Sylvia's Bridal Sampler! Hey! I've got to finish this book and find out what happens! :)
The blocks are looking great, keep them coming. I look forward to seeing more
