such cute circles - I am making the star from pattern #1 right now and I'm on the fourth one. I think I will make 4 from each and then if I feel like it after I get all of those done play around like you are and and make more for a larger quilt - after all as the circles get done and appliqued to a background the pieces can be used again.
They look great.... I've been tempted by this one seeing peoples pop up on line but held off..... I really have enough going on......
