Playing with scraps

I have been having some fun with some pieces from my scrap bag - i needed to work on something small after finishing the SBS. This is what I have been up to lately:

The largest one of them is 8"x11" :o) I think they are really cute - and I hope I can get them quilted fairly soon.

I wanted to say THANK YOU! to everyone who has left me a comment on the SBS! I truly appreciate it, and I'm so happy that so many people like it! I have tried to respond to everyone, but unfortunately some of you still come up with "noreply-comment@blogger.com". Please check your settings!?

And while I'm on comments: I have recently experienced that my messages have bounced when I have tried to leave comments on Darlene's blog - I get a message sent to my e-mail saying that the message can't be delivered - is anyone else experiencing this? I'd appreciate any input on this!

Wishing everyone a great quilty weekend!
Sincerely, Anne Ida

Your miniature quilts are soooo sweet! I love all things mini and they are a lot of fun to make too. I have a little clothes-line, it is a neat idea for displaying them (there is a picture of it in one of my older posts).

Have a nice and sunny weekend!

Cute minis :-)
I see you are ready for another crazy block quilt ? Like CWD or CWLL ( Civil War Love Letter ) or Nearly Insane ?? ;-)
Personally I have to finish a few of the projects I have around here before I give CWD full attention :-)

Very cute indeed Anne Ida, but I have to say your SB quilt is just stunning. You must be so happy with it, and I'm sure so happy that it's finished....*S*

OMG, they are adorable!

The bouncing e-mails may have been a problem on my end. I got the comment(s) on my blog but no e-mail notification - could have been blogger and AOL not playing well together. :-)

I too have had this happen on Darlene's blog. I told her about it - not sure why it happens.

Perfect piecing! That is what makes these little ones true gems. Nice!

I used to make a living with a knitting machine and after doing a large project (like a lace wedding dress or a two-piece suit) I would knit mitts by the dozens. I understand perfectly why you are doing this after that amazing SBS quilt!
