While sorting through the bowl of HST, I discovered these three little blocks at the bottom of the pile.
I was sure I had more of them stashed away somewhere in a project bag I brought with me back from the summer house last fall, and looking through my shelves I found a bag with more little flower blocks.
Not really sure I want to make many more of these flowers, but I should be able to do something with these, right? A table runner perhaps??
As for my Triangle Gatherings: I got my block #12 fixed yesterday - as Teresa pointed out, thank goodness the mistake was on an outer row :-)

FNSI - addicted to half square triangles
Last night was the third Friday of the month, which meant time for a fun Friday Nigh Sew In with everyone gathered together by Wendy over at Sugar Lane Designs. In my PJ's after a busy week I poured a glass of wine, put on some music and stitched this week's blocks of Triangle Gatherings
...the seam ripper was used lots last night, and now I just discovered I have turned one of the HSTs on block 12 the wrong way around - guess fixing that is the task for today.
I also sorted through my bowl of bonus HST that has been on my desk forever, snipped off the dog ears and they are now ready to be pressed and stitched into some cute 5" blocks.
Time to make a mug of tea and hop over to Sugar Lane designs and see what everyone was up to last night
Wishing blogland a relaxing and creative weekend

Slow Sunday Stitching
Over the last week I have made a little bit of progress on my blue and cream epp stars. The six little stars are finished, the large center star is done, and I have started to put them all together
Hopefully I will be able to make a little bit more progress on this project today, and perhaps prepare the triangles to go between the little stars, and the diamonds to go around the edge.
Block #11 of Triangle Gatherings was posted on Friday night, and I managed to put it together between the basting of Park Bench yesterday
My neck is a bit stiff after machine quilting on my Park Bench yesterday, so I'm realizing it will be a very slow progress. There are 15 blocks in the quilt + the dividing diamonds, I'll be happy if I can get one block and one diamonds quilted pr week - this will still mean I should have the quilt ready for summer heat :-)
Also making a little progress on my pink jumper - 1/3 of the first sleeve:

Quilting Park Bench
This morning I crawled on my hands and knees basting my Park Bench quilt. The quilt top measures aprox 63"x88", so it was a tiny bit of a workout getting the layers together.
I bought some bamboo batting a while back and I'm excited to see how that will turn out in the quilt. For my backing I have a cream and light green toile of a Japanese garden.
This afternoon I have started to quilt it - I'm playing with some free motion motif quilting, hopefully I will do something different in each of the blocks. So it will take me some time to do, but I'm thinking I'll have lots of fun playing with it.
Wishing blogland a great weekend!

Triangle Gatherings block #10
Block #10 was announced last night, and I just had to stitch - it's the one on the right hand bottom row :-) Loving how this collection of little blocks keep growing - 11 down, 77 to go!

Slow Stitching on a Snowy Sunday
It's a quiet Sunday here in the city and snow is flurrying outside my windows. A perfect day to light some candles and curl up on the sofa with some hand stitching, something warm to drink and a good movie. Hoping to make some more progress on my blue and cream epp stars.
Linking up with Kathy and all the ladies doing Slow Stitching Sunday. Read Kathy's blog post and you'll understand the inspiration for my choice of movie for the day - not sure how many times I have seen it, and I can watch it again and again 😃
Enjoy your Sunday, and get some stitching in

FNwF and TG Block #9 and #9a
Last night was the first Friday of the month and time for February's Friday Night with friends. I have been away with work since Thursday morning, so my FNwF was mostly Friday night with good colleagues. However between the end of yesterdays seminar, and the evening's drinks and dinner, I made a few stitches on one of my blue and white star blocks.
I think I have figured out what to do with these little stars, and I might actually have a finish soon... (?).
Catching up on some blog reading on the bus home this morning I saw that Lisa Bongean had posted block #9 of Triangle Gatherings, so I just had to do some stitching as soon as I got back. Along with the block pattern she has also posted a pic of a woops-block. I think it is pretty darn cute, so I just had to use some of my orphan HSTs to make one of those as well.
There's supposed to be 87 blocks in the TG project - guess this makes the total 88. 9 (10) down, 78 to go :-)
I'm linking up with Cheryll over at Gone Stitchin'... thank you for arranging Friday Night with Friends.
