Friday Night With Friends

Last night was this year's first Friday Night With Friends, run by Cheryll over at Gone Stitchin'.

So I picked up some yummy sushi on my way home from work, and got the chocolate out of the kitchen cupboard, and settled in for a night with needle, fabric, tread and yarn.

What did I get up to? I made my block of the week. A 6" Millennium block in greys, blues and beiges:

That is all the sewing I got in... I'm on call at work this weekend, and had a few things I needed to handle, and then the sofa and my knitting called my name:

I managed to make quite a bit of progress on my pink sweater - having heaps of fun with this :-)

What eveyone else was up to last night, you can find here:

Thank you Cheryll for organizing this fun sew together!
Hugs and stitches from Anne Ida

Hi Anne,
Nice work on your block and a lovely jersey in the making.
You did well to juggle work, sewing and knitting.
Happy stitching,

That is a beautiful star block, your knitting is looking great too, hard to keep going when you get interruptions though.
